Location & Maps

The hotel was built in 2019 with the intention of blending in with its natural surroundings. The earthly colours of the luxury suites pay tribute to its name ‘Sempre Viva’ a small local amaranth wild flower that can be found on the hillsides of Monemvasia. The flower symbolizes everlasting love.  The Greeks also regard the Amaranth flower as a symbol of immortality because of how it retains its palette of colours, even when dried, for many a year.

The four star ‘Sempre Viva Suites’ overlook the Myrtoan Sea to the medieval castle rock face of Monemvasia.  For those guests, who seek only the best, the hotel proposes 18 modern elegant suites that meet even the most demanding clientele’s needs.  All suites are fully equipped with two or more large balconies, offering both sea, castle and surrounding mountain views.

The hotel is situated only 200 mts. from the sea shore and less than a 10 minute drive from the connecting bridge to the caste citadel of Monemvasia.  The nearest airport is that of Kalamata at 186 km. distance (driving time 2h.30 min).  Athens international airport is at a distance of 329 km. (3-4 h. drive).  Private chauffeur, car rental and shuttle services for small groups, are available upon request, at a cost to be confirmed with each booking.  Daily local bus services for and from Athens to Monemvasia are frequent; you can check relevant time tables with the Greek national coach services at www.ktel.gr
